The Asianpiade is held every second year when Olympiad is not held, in the cou ntry of an IVV―ASIA member. Europiade is also held in the country of IVV-Europ e member. It is a celebration of volkssports and everyone is invited to partici pate. Asianpiade volkssport events include walking, swimming, biking, and someti mes other non-competitive sports. Social and cultural activities promote harmony , mutual understanding, and friendships among those who attend.
